Regarding Oshi holomem Top Cut Selection Method
The Oshi holomem used by players who have won every game in the preliminary rounds will be referred to as the “top cut selection Oshi holomem.”
The following selection method will be used to determine the players who get to participate in the final rounds.
If the number of players eligible for the final rounds exceed the number of slots available, players will be chosen for the final rounds determined by the various steps stated below, giving priority to players who clear whichever condition that comes first:
- All players who have won every game in the preliminary rounds.
- Players with 1 loss in the preliminary rounds, and are NOT using the same card as a “top cut selection Oshi holomem.”
- Players with 1 loss in the preliminary rounds, and using the same card as a “top cut selection Oshi holomem.”If there are multiple players with the same eligibility within the above-stated conditions, a random method will be used by the tournament organizers to determine which of those players will be selected to play in the final rounds.

Regarding Extra Turns
Extra turns refer to the additional turns required to determine a winner after time is up for that game.
The following steps will be used for turn progression and determining the winner.
- At the point where the end of a game is announced, all play is suspended, even if it is in the middle of an ability/effect resolution, and a judge is called.
- The number of extra turns awarded when time is called will differ depending on the player who is playing the current turn, based on whether they were the player who is going first or going second for the game.
[If the player going first for the game is playing the current turn when time is called]
The player going first in the game will continue to play out their current turn, and the player going second will play an additional turn after that.
[If the player going second for the game is playing the current turn when time is called]
The player going second in the game will continue to play out their current turn, then the player going first will play an additional turn, and thereafter the player going second will get an additional turn.
- If a winner cannot be determined even after the extra turns are played out, the player with the most life remaining will be declared the winner. If both players’ remaining life are the same, the next turn after will proceed, and the game will continue until the end phase of that turn or until a winner can be determined. Repeat step 3 with additional turns proceeding, until a winner is decided.
In the event that both players lose at the same time during the extra turns, the non-turn player shall be declared the winner.
